Mahwari Meri Saathi Bootcamp
Training young people to become informed, confident, and compassionate period educators.
Mahwari Meri Saathi is our period educator bootcamp, where young people develop the knowledge, communication skills, and confidence to talk about menstruation in their own communities. Participants explore menstrual health, puberty, stigma, inclusion, period products, and effective menstrual education before graduating as trained period educators who can take these conversations forward.

Graduates of Mahwari Meri Saathi bootcamp then go on to conduct “Mehfooz Mahwari (Safe Periods) Sessions in schools, universities and their communities. Mahwari Justice has built a network of 50+ period educators in Pakistan through Mahwari Meri Saathi bootcamp.

Menstrual Education in Schools
Creating safe spaces for young people to learn about menstruation without shame or stigma.
In a country where periods are considered taboo, we strive to provide widespread period education for all. We have conducted ‘Mehfooz Mahwari’ (Safe Period) workshops in 60+ schools, with a particular focus on rural areas. Through these workshops, we aim to break the silence around menstruation, educate young people about menstrual health, and empower them with the knowledge and resources they need to manage their periods safely and with dignity. Till this date we have educated 5000+ students on puberty and menstrual health managment.
We conduct menstrual education sessions in schools serving children with disabilities, adapting our approach to different learning and communication needs. Our sessions focus on accessible, age-appropriate information about puberty, menstruation, hygiene, body autonomy, and menstrual management, helping ensure that disability does not become a barrier to menstrual health knowledge.
Mahwari Justice believes every child has the right to learn about their bodies in languages and formats they are most comfortable in.
Training teachers on Menstruation and LSBE
Equipping teachers with the knowledge and confidence to support students through puberty, menstruation, and life skills education.
Our teacher training sessions build educators’ capacity to facilitate age-appropriate, inclusive conversations around menstruation, puberty, and Life Skills-Based Education (LSBE). Teachers learn how to communicate sensitive topics with care, address myths and misconceptions, respond to students’ questions, and create safe, supportive classroom environments where young people can learn about their bodies without shame or stigma.
Community Sessions on Menstrual Health Management
Taking menstrual health education beyond the classroom and into communities.
In addition to sessions with students Mahwari Justice alsoconduct sessions in communities. Our community sessions bring accessible menstrual health education to young people, caregivers, educators, and community members. Through open conversations and practical information, we address common myths, build menstrual health literacy, and encourage communities to create more supportive and stigma-free environments for menstruators.
The way we talk about menstruation shapes the way the next generation experiences it. When families and communities replace shame with knowledge and silence with conversation, young people are better able to understand their bodies and navigate menstruation with confidence and dignity.

Sessions for Parents and Caregivers
Taking menstrual health education beyond the classroom and into communities.
Our sessions with parents and caregivers create open, stigma-free spaces to learn about menstruation, puberty, menstrual health, and the needs of young people. We equip caregivers with accurate information and practical guidance to have supportive conversations, respond to questions and concerns, and help young people navigate menstruation with confidence and dignity.
